New DLG test now also confirms outstanding resource efficiency of the automatic milking system (AMS) GEA DairyRobot R9500 as a multibox system (2-box)

With every additional box the power and water consumption is further reduced since up to four milking robots can be connected to one supply unit. You can now make even better use of this degression effect: Because from now on up to eight milking robots can be connected to one milk line and up to 16 robots can be connected to one tank!

Especially in scenario 1, optimized operation, the DairyRobot R9500 2-box system performs up to 20% better than the other 2-box systems tested by the DLG, with 1.1 kWh per 100 l of milk.

The DLG test procedure is the gold standard.

Based on its experience in the tractor sector, the Agrarmagazin profi took the initiative in 2012 and developed the world's only measurement standard for a manufacturer-independent test of automatic milking systems together with the milking technology manufacturers

GEA, Lely, DeLaval and Fullwood,
the German Agricultural Society (DLG), and the
Bavarianthe Bavarian State Research Center for Agriculture (LfL).

The first tests were conducted in 2014. Since then, any manufacturer can be tested at the DLG Test Center in Groß-Umstadt (Germany).
